I Guess to start with I should say, I am one of the lucky ones. I grew up, not being a latch key kid, but being one of those that had a mother to come home to. Something that happens all to seldom these days. My mother was a stay at home mom. And while I lived with her, I never realized how lucky I had it.
My Mother is one of the most wonderful women on the planet. She did everything for me and my  siblings while we grew up. Cooked, cleaned, was there for us when we needed her. And I believe we took her for granted, never really knowing, till later, that we had an angel on earth taking care of us. For that is all you can really call some who's done so much, and gotten so little in return, an Angel.
There's been a lot of times when I didn't show her how much what she's done for me is appreciated. Especially in the past few years. But I do, now more then ever. Being out on my own, you realize things that you don't when your at home. And i've realized how lucky and wonderful I had it.
My mother is so wonderful, I've learned so much and I'm still learning form her. I just hope if I have kids of my own, that I can do for them even half of what she did for me. and that I can remember to tell her I love her more often.
