4 45 October 20 2001 I go to start waking the dragon up, people are expected soon, in 35 minuets the phone rings, it's Jamendude (Jeff) checking to make sure he's at the right place, he is. Doorbell rings about one minuet after phone is hung up.

Ten minuets later, the none IRC josh shows up, Bob's former roomie and he grew up with Bob and Shane. He shows up in a red do-rag, black and white plaid shirt, and black leather pants. All of us immediately burst into laughter, it’s so not him. We sit about talking once laughter is over, waiting for SirJason (the IRC josh to be from now on called Jason) to arrive, he shows around 5 40
Talk a bit more then direction are gotten and two cares taken, Josh, Jason and Shane in Jason’s car; Me, Bob and Jeff in Jeff’s car. We stop off for film and to air up Jeff’s tires, and then we’re on our way. We drive though St. Louis, finely find the place in an old warehouse and we wait in line. Jokes made about the port-a-potty pictures taken by me and Jason (you had to be there) and the line starts to move at last.
Mild confusion getting the tickets but tickets to the first place are gotten. It's called The Darkness. Go in, wait in rather well decorated line made up to look like the outside of a house. We go into the house and go into large room made up like an old library. We start talking to this other couple while waiting for room to fill. Short audio animated scene is done, the guys in charge start letting smaller groups in.  The six of us and the couple we talked to last to go in. It's mild at first, a well decorated maze like place, people jumping out and scream at you from behind paitings and such things liek that. We get turned around in one room can't find the door. Door is then found run into more people trying to scare us. I'm clinging to bob's jacket; order of march BTW is Jason/Jeff (they kept switching) Bob and me RIGHT behind him, then the other couple mostly the woman in front, then josh and Shane.

It was a really good haunted house, the worst part was the COMPELTY dark maze section, felt like if took step to one side would fall off. I had hold of Bob's hand/shoulders in front and I have my arm twisted behind me holding hands with the woman of the couple so we don’t get lost. This phase ends with a large (we're talking at least three feet wide) robotic snake nearly "eating" Jeff and Bob; it just came outta NO WHERE. Bit more of spooky stuff, the most amusing part was the spook that followed Bob around till bob finely asked him “what?” then the spook gestured to his head as if to say “I like your hat”. Then we go though a very cheesy "3 D" section that’s supposed to be a boat. We get to the very end door that leads to outside, Bob and I first. We open the door and exit; I let go of bob’s hand/shoulders. Then from behind the door comes the sound of a LOUD chainsaw. I take off pell mell, Bob whirls into defense, sees what it is, relaxes, then turns and laughs at me when I calms down. Chainsaw dude chases us a bit into the small fair outside the building then finely stops when we all stop responding. We talk with the other couple a bit roe, and then decide we want food so we leave and start heading to place to find food.
Food is found *Tacobell*. We buy three Grande meals. (Ten tacos, ten burritos, ten soft tacos and a thing of nachos). Bob eats most of it (no joke). We talk and then after looking at the time it's decided to wait till next weekend to go see the other thing we had planed to go to, as Jason has to get to work. So we drive home, this time Bob and me in Jason care and josh and Shane in Jeff’s.
We get back to mine and Bob's place and start messing around outside. Bob pulls me over and gathers the guys around us. Then he looks at me and starts to reach for something in his jacket "I wanted to do this with everyone around to witness". He pulls out a small black velvet box and gets down on knee " Jennifer will you marry me?"
I blink then smile and hold out hand to slip the ring on “yes, I will." Then I reach into MY jacket and pull out another little black velvet box and open it and show it to him 'and will you marry me?" bob face is priceless, he’s so surprised." where did this come from? Oh and yes'. I laugh, "it was my surprise” then I slip the ring onto his finger; it's HIS engagement ring. Laugher and kisses happen, pictures are taken of us. Then we all go upstairs, more pictures are made. Then we settled down to talk till people have to leave.

And there you have it, basically we proposed to each other *giggles* I got him good with his ring. I had decided to get him it because he kept putting on his wedding ring and wanted to wear it already, so I figured, I’ll get HIM an engagement ring for him to wear. After the Wedding he'll move it over to his right hand and wear his ring on his left.
